- Drop into command mode (using the <pause> +++ <pause> sequance)
- and issue an ATO1 command to return on-line while telling th emodem to
- request a retrain. I'm not sure if this will fix your problem though, and
- no matter why you're modem is disconnecting, it should NOT require that it
- be powered down before it will work again. You may want to contact the
- store where you bought it to try and get a replacement modem, or if that's
- not possible, you could try USR tech support.
